Nexans
The Nexans come from a world that is
not their own. They were created to be explorers by
a peaceful insectoid race, the F'alik. The Nexans were
to explore the more hazardous areas of the planet, to
go where the F'alik could not and to share these discoveries
with their creators. But, at the dawn of the Nexan's
self-awareness, the F'alik discovered that a nearby
star had exploded. In the time they had left, they tried
to develop protection against the radiation. The Nexans
helped as best they could, but it was to no avail. The
star's radiation swept over the planet and wiped out
all life.
The Nexans survived and eventually developed space travel.
Now they explore, learn and search for other organic
races to share their knowledge. But some organic races
have taught them a new skill: warfare.
As warriors for Mages, Nexans are formidable.
Many of them are simple to create and they work together
to increase their overall power.
